An expert on corporate governance, Pascal Levensohn has served as board chairman, audit committee chairman, compensation committee chairman, and board secretary for venture-backed companies since 1996.
He first served as a public company director in 1993 and served as the Chairman of the Board of SoundThinking, Inc. (NASDAQ:SSTI) from the company’s IPO in 2017 until June 2025.
He currently serves as either a fiduciary director or formal board observer on several US and Europe-based venture-backed companies: board chairman DigiLens, Inc. (Sunnyvale, CA, USA); formal board observer, Salvia BioElectronics (Eindhoven, Netherlands); formal board observer, Vandria SA (Switzerland); director, Cure Network Dolby Acceleration Partners.
Pascal is a former director of the US National Venture Capital Association (2007–2011). He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a former Trustee of the American Academy in Berlin (2016–2019). He is a former co-chairman of the Socrates Society Forum of the Aspen Institute (2007–2009); a former Chairman of the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation’s Business Leadership Council (2007–2008); a former Vice President and Director of San Francisco’s Congregation Emanu El (1994–2000).
In 2025, Pascal established Levensohn Swiss Sàrl. In April 2026 the Vice Chancellor of Cambridge University appointed Pascal as the Chair of the Cambridge Innovation Hub Global Advisory Board.
